Alergic Reaction?

When I got home from work this morning I noticed that my labs eyes were swollen to about the size of half a tennis ball. Maybe a little smaller. Her mouth was also swollen. It did not appear that she had a temp. I gave her some Benadril and she is better now. All I can think of was that she may have gotten a few pumpkin seeds when the kids were carving yesterday. Anyone else seen this before? She is almostback to normal now but has thrown up a few times today. I did find a tick on her neck that I removed whole but don’t think it was that.

Has she been hunting recently? I think my dog has issues with certain types of weeds…as weird as it sounds, if she gets into a certain CRP field on our land, she swells up. I have no idea what it is but it’s happend on 2 different occasions.

Unfortunately no, but we have a large crp field next to our house. She was looking good tonight, but if not better in the morning I will just have to take her in.

Maybe allergies! I had a dog that had hay fever a couple times a year.
