Im lookin for a yellow lab, or chocolate lab. I would like one as young as possible so i can train it over the winter for next duck season. The dog must have a hunting bloodline. or if ur dogs are having babies sometime soon id be willing to wait. im only 15 and dont have money like crazy so as cheap as possible please. i hope i dont sound cheap but dogs can get spendy. thanks guys. pm me if u have one
You dont sound cheap. You sound hopeful like the rest of us. Good luck finding that special dog! They can be found in unlikely places.
I am 3 for 3 on getting great dogs from golden valley animal humane society, tons of labs wanting homes. My current dog hunter is wonderful. Save a life, and get a great friend for life.
Like most dogs the owner brings the great hunting out of the dog not the dog getting it out of the owner. Remember these things, not saying breeded dogs in general are no good just that lots of dogs need homes that are wonderful hunters.
