What do some of you use to keep your dogs hydrated in the field. I have in the past just carried bottled water but will be hunting with two dogs this year. What are some of your ideas?

I have a 3-5 gallon jug at the truck with a spigot and carry multiple (2-3) gatorade bottles with the twist top for easier use! I think they are like 20 or 24 oz. each. My GAMEHIDE GAMEBIRD VEST has a spot for 2 bottles and I put the other on the bottom of the bird compartment for a spare!

I take a water cooler jug.(Same as you’ll find in the office water cooler. You can get them at Home Depot.
a 12 ga shell fits perfect in the opening at the top as a stoper. Then I have 2 Ivory soap bottles with the pull up top. It’s important to have the pop top to squirt in the dog nose to evacuate the seeds. Also the controll of the spout minimizes water waste.

We run our dogs hard. So water is very important. So I carry an igloo water jug on the top of the truck. Plenty of water for a day or 2. We also use K9 bluelite in the water. Thought I had a pic of the dog box with the cooler strapped on, but I must have deleted it.
