I have a 1 and a half year old lab had him out last year and he seems to retrieve well. but i am teenager and would like to send him soom where where i can get him some more training. i am looking for some resealable prices and close to Eau clair Wisconsin. i will travel if it is close to a 1 and a half way. Or is he to old to train. Any answers would help.

Their are a few trainers in the Eau Claire area that can fit your need. A cost effective way would be group training instead of private training.

The best thing to do is get in touch with one of these trainers and set up a meeting. They will be able to tell you what program will best work for your dog. Alot will depend on what level your dog is at now. is his obedience solid? Gun trained? Prey drive?

Another thing you may want to consider is a retriever club.

    pm sent.

You could check out Muddy Waters Retriever Club in Junction City, WI. they have some good members, and it is somewhat close to you.

Check with Dave & Julie at Totaduck Kennels at 879-5687 in Elk Mound/Colfax. They have been at it for a bunch of years or even PM Don Hanson who answered your message as he is always helpful and in your area.
