I was aided in my search for a pup this past fall by IDO member DeerDragger.

I made a run to MN to pick up my pup in September just in time to watch MoreEyes claim his FLW Finals victory. That was day one with the little pup.

Fast forward a few months and I realized I was getting behind on my training. I knew I wasn’t going to have the time to lay the foundation with my pup, so I enlisted the help of Don Hanson.

This past Sunday I got my pup back after two weeks with Don. It’s hard to believe so much could get done in two weeks time. I dropped off a dog that would obey a couple commands if there was a Milk Bone involved and picked up the start of a hunting dog.

I wanted to publicly thank a couple IDO members for their help. The willingness to help each other is one of the things that makes this site great.
