Well, she’s past the point of the early early gun training. No issues with being gun shy!!! Yea!!!! Gotten a chance to work her with Mae, my ten year old and two Sunday’s ago we (Mae) put up a dozen birds (grouse and woodcock).

Well as luck would have it, I finally got an open shot and connected. Mae must have had another bird work up and over the hill, as she would keep working up the hill. Well Viv and I went toward the fallen bird to check it out. Viv was a few feet in front when her nose put her right on the bird, alive and two startled young ‘uns both went different directions. Pretty funny to see Viv fly back to my feet. Once Mae got in the area and she put the hammer down on that bird, then Viv was all over it!!! Yea!!! Things going pretty well, except for finding the right areas with birds and without the ticks!!!
