Advice on a dog

    I think any dog can be a great family dog. My 1 y.o. girl will climb all over my Viszla. He will lay there until he gets sick of it, get up and give her a quick lick before leaving. I think there is more to be said for proper socialization of the dog to children, then to any breed being better then another.

    Stick Boy, if you are looking for a good british lab check out Royal Flush Kennels, it’s located just west of hinckley. I have seen these dogs in action and they are the most well behaved hunting machines I have ever seen.

    They are one of 3 on my list. Goin up there today, sun or monday to look at his dogs and kennel.

    That is a litter of Pointers that we had two years ago. One is up in the Michigan U. P. guiding for grouse and a pair of them earn their food out in SD. They were all great pups.

    In my opinion the most important factor is finding a healthy dog. There are some genetic flaws in some of the common bird dogs that are getting hard to avoid. I’d also suggest doing some research, but focus on the health issues involved with the breeds, not just their abilities.
