We have been using the 460 and 560 marcum cameras this year, and the compass cover actually keeps the holes from freezing shut as well.
    Those cameras are unbelievable!

Hey experts…….I was talking with a fellow about dog foods and he was really hyping up this Fromm brand dog food. He gave me a couple small samples…..I was reading the ingredients and it sure looked good……..corn was not a major ingredient.

I have fed Iams and Eukanuba in the past, but am always looking for something better…….

    Any opinions on this stuff?

23% seems pretty good I can’t remember the name of the stuff I used to feed, it was like 29%… I was turned onto it by a guy I worked with. I was grumbling about all the LOGS I had to pick-up in the yard, he then suggested to quit feeding my dog corn, that they can’t even hardly digest, but they just turn into LOGS. I switched and his LOGS soon became little black twigs !!!

The website Dog Food Analysis rates and review many different dog foods on a scale of 1 to 6 stars. We used that when deciding to switch our dog from el cheapo Purina Dog Chow to Canidae.

We haven’t started feeding the Canidae yet, as we have probably half a bag of Purina left, but it doesn’t have the extra “filler” ingredients that provide no nutritional value. Each bag costs more than the Purina, but we will end up feeding half the amount, and getting better nutrition so it will be worth the small increase in price per serving.

The one type of Fromm I looked at is a 5 star.

Canidae is the only food my yellow lab gets. After reading the labels it seems the only good choice to me. It is spendy, but they don’t need quite as much as was said earlier.

We’ve got Macy on the Canidae food now, and WOW, she was already 45 lbs of muscle and energy, but after making the switch, her energy level has increased even more. Its amazing what a difference premium dog food makes.
