The first two dogs only have had a couple of sessions so it is all pretty new to them. Alot of bird scent in the field so we let them work their noses. You will notice on the first 2 videos that the dogs are covering the same ground they all ready hunted. Both dogs also went in behind the hunters. a couple of areas to work on next time out.
The third video is a dog that has done this a few times. A good attitude but still makes some mistakes. He does make a nice retrieve though. That brings me to my next point. The main objective was quartering and the dogs finding birds in the field. We were not concerned with retrieving or anything else just finding birds.

You can tell the first lab is just beginning but hes also a good dog, you can see he is. The brittney is already pretty fair. I liked the way she stopped and looked in the brush for anything walking or scent. I have a feeling she knew there was a bird in there or real fresh scent, she brought back memories. You could tell the second lab is doing good and has been in the field befor, he knows his stuff too. Its nice to see good dogs work, Nice videos and thanks for posting Don!
