Monitor your dog well over the holiday weekend. With the celebration and alot of fireworks going off, things can go bad. I have seen some well seasoned gun dogs become severly gunshy by being exposed to unsuspected explosions.
Try not to leave your dog alone if there is fireworks nearby. Be especially wary if your dogs kennel is next to an ally or anywhere people can walk by and toss something over the fence. People think it is funny to toss firecrackers at animals. It is a good weekend to keep your dog by your side and have them stay indoors.

Good point Don! Some people also think it’s funny to shoot bottle rockets out of the cab of there truck at other vehicles! I wish i could’ve followed that S.O.B.
