New Dog – British Lab

    We picked up our new dog this weekend — a 2 year old, female, black British Lab from Royalty British Kennels (outside of Hinckley). Can’t say enough about how well John runs those kennels and how well trained his dogs are. He is top notch!

    On Saturday early a.m., we did some chuckar shooting over the new dog at Royal Flush preserve (John’s other venture). She’s a little rusty, but shaped up well by the 4th bird. A little more field and water work over the summer and she’ll be ready to go for sure. Always fun to get a new dog…

    Piper is her name. Yup, I told John that I heard about his place from you and IDA/IDO. He said good things about you, Stacie, and the Rooster Rouser that iDoHunting held last year. I’ll need to get up there for the rouser this year…
