Well here is my first report on Molly’s first trip to the game farm.

She did awsome, put out 3 chukar and 2 pheasants, she flushed 4 of the 5 , shot 3 of 4, she had no negative reaction to the gun shots

She retrieved the downed birds with ease, the one pheasant was not dead she retrieved with ease.

I would like to thank Don for his fine work with Molly

It sounds like you’ve got a good dog there. Hunting dogs are a pleasure to have and hunt with.

Yes I would highly rec Don, before Molly was gun shy and would go catatonic at the sound of a gun, Don’s patients with her worked well, he was able to work with her personality, which is pretty laid back but focused and intense when the time arrives.

Now she is a hunting machine.

Only a matter of time until she stares back at you when you miss .

That does happen too or real close to it. I shot at a pheasant one time and missed, Id been on pretty good until that shot. I shot, Zach turned around and looked at me for a signal and all I could do was stand there with him thinking and that look in his eye waiting for a signal, it went from that too oh well and he went back to hunting. I know he though I was going to tell him which way to go, I’ll never forget that look in his eye like what happened or I thought you were going to shoot that thing for me when I missed. Kinda humbling when that dog gives a guy the look like I did my part and you didn’t. You ever had that happen Don?
