    Hey guys

Well I finally decided it was time to get the old pooch a kennel for the back of the truck- she is starting to think she runs the show!! I would like to get one that I can add a cover to if I need to. Just wanted to see if anyone had any advice or experience with one.

    Thanx for the help

Any of the porta kennels work fine. Although I don’t use the kennels anymore, they took up to much room in the box. I’ve since got a topper with windoors, slick. Quite the price difference but works well for me.

One thing to keep in mind is to get the right size for your dog, if you have a small or med size dog do not get a large kennel. There kennel is there safe place so you want one that fits them as they will feel more comfortable in close quarters rather than a huge one with a ton of room. Of course if you have a large dog you will need a large kennel. I also have a topper on my truck but I still want my dog in her kennel, I feel she is safer in her kennel rather than lose in the back of the truck as she could get thrown around and hurt if I have to stop quick or heaven forbid be in an accident, I look at kennel as a seat belt for dogs.
