His name is woodie after the woodduck. He is 4 years old. Awesome duck and goose dog as well as points those boring pheasants people think are fun to hunt.
Here is my brothers pup that is going to be a great ditch chicken hunter. He was 10 weeks old at the time of the pics which was a month ago.

Be careful. Once they realize how much better pheasants taste than duck, they might try to eat all your birds.

The shorthairs goes after ditch chickens hence that is the reason why it is my brothers not mine. My black lap spends days on end with me in the boat blind and shore blind and loves it.
