Starting to see insects coming to life out in the woods and fields. If you are not treating your dog for ticks year round, I would recommend to start treating now.

What do you guys use for flea and tick prevention? How does that liquid you place on the dog work? Is it good? Or do you recommend something else?

We will use frontline on all the dogs just about year round, as many of the dogs will be in trials down south thru our cold season.

I still find ticks on the dogs, but all of the ticks look like they are dead and I rarely find a tick that has burrowed into the skin.

I wish they made frontline for people, especially when we are in chigger country.

You can buy it on-line or get it from your Vet Eric. I agree with Renedy. I use it year around. I will still find Ticks on my dog from time to time but they do not burrow in. I think I actually use FrontLine Plus?????

Sorry to hear about your loss Robby. Not a good feeling at all. Lets make sure we keep our little buddies protected and healthy.

I also get it from the vet along with heartworm medication. Another thing you may want to consider is an annual lyme disease vaccination.
