    No doubt Bird Dog. Shooting Birds is ok, but watching a dog work is the reason I hunt pheasants. nothinglike watchng your dog flusha bird, nipping on its heels or watching your dog lock up and hold steady. Even better when your best firends dog and yours are on the move and absolutley hit the skids with each dog locked up on each side of the bird, with their head tilted and Nose to Nose.

    Bring it on. I’m heading out after an all nighter Saturday night on the pond.

    I am using both a check cord and a collar at this time. My concern will be with other hunters around, that is why I will probably keep him on check for awhile yet.
