I’ve been working the hounds on a regular schedule the last few weeks, no shooting besides with the camera. Here are a few recent (yesterday) pics and a few of my favorites from seeasons past. I’m ready for opener, they’re ready, can’t wait!! Enjoy.

wish I had more pics of my [censored], it seems she’s always so buried in the brush I can’t get decent pics of her. I usually don’t see much of her. All I know is her locator goes off.

LOL, didn’t have the camera that day. Wish I did though, would have made a great pic, especially with your dogs head involved mid stream!

Nice pics. I have had “Kota” on a pre-season warmup for the past few weeks. This will be his first year.

I tell ya, I get more enjoyment out of watching a young dog progress…nothing quite like watching all those hours pay off. I have just as much fun watching them work as I do shooting the birds.

No doubt Bird Dog. Shooting Birds is ok, but watching a dog work is the reason I hunt pheasants. nothinglike watchng your dog flusha bird, nipping on its heels or watching your dog lock up and hold steady. Even better when your best firends dog and yours are on the move and absolutley hit the skids with each dog locked up on each side of the bird, with their head tilted and Nose to Nose.

Bring it on. I’m heading out after an all nighter Saturday night on the pond.

    Good luck Boys
