I have a new pup on the way, and was looking for Gene Hill’s book, “Of Tears And Laughter”. I have checked around at the normal places, and on the net, with little or no success. ($50.00 for a medium condition!)
About 10 years ago, I read a story that came from the book, in a outdoor mag, and at the time, my hound was only 3 years old, and didn’t need to name it. But, after reading the story, the dog’s name in the story, was so cool, that I said then, that when the time comes, I am going to name my next dog this.
Well, as people get older, you can only remember so much, (Why I could remember the book’s title and author, is beyond me!) I can’t, for the life of me, remember the dogs name. So, I would like to get a hold of a copy, and look for that story, and/or read the whole book.
My tastes in names might have changed, but I won’t find out till I read the book.
I figured, that if anyone would have a copy, it would be some of the folks here on the site. Probably what will happen, is that I will get all kinds of responses, after I already have the new dog home. Oh, well. Thought I would give it a chance!
Thanks in advance,
Rivy
