Now that winter is coming to an end, I need to clean up the yard from the dog.

What lawn chemicals can I put on the grass to keep the “burn spots” to a minimum. I’m talking urine and feces burn spots.

Gary, Just did this yesterday. Probably got few hundred pounds picked up.

I read about the burn spots in my Ortho Lawn book. The salt from the dogs urine is what causes the burn spots. The only cure is to rake the burn, add top soil and seed.

My little Bichon still leaves burn spots. I just water the heck out of them in the spring and it takes care of them.
