    If this is true. I would do the same thing. My animals are part of our family.

    This is another good reason to get impanted chips. There would be no questions if they had.

    My stepmother has an Irish Setter that ran away, or was taken about 4 yrs ago. She lived in North St Paul at the time. They found the dog in St Paul about 25 miles away. This dog would have to had cross 3 interstate freeways to get to where they found her. Anyways, she had a chip implanted by her breeder in California. My father got a call about 4 days later saying that his dog was in the St Paul Humane Society. So, a chip is a great idea. If you have a dog that is a runner, go for it.

    I know I’m preaching to the chior. But good hunting dogs aren’t cheap. And not everyone is honest. My inlaws had 2 dogs taken from there kennel in 5 years.

    Anything helps. A chip is far cheaper than a new dog.
