While I was in heated negotiations with Dean at Ramsey’s Skeeter Boat Center, Ella was making friends with Drake the live in dog.

I think the pictures tell the tail<< My only concern is that Ella would think all dogs are this good with kids… but we talked about it there and on the way home. Either way, she needs to be watched around dogs at her ripe old age of 3.5 years.

The way they interacted was pretty cool. BTW Ella thought Drake was cold on the floor hence being covered by newspapers.

Don’t be fooled by those dogs. Dean shamelessly used Gus to close the deal when I bought my tiller last year. doah

When those grandkids are having fun playing around the showroom I just dare you to say no!! jester

Great job grandpa, it’s about time we get pictures of the boat.

That’s not Gus Dutch. It’s Drake, Tony Kammeyer the tech guy’s version of Gus. They could be twins…Gus and Drake I mean. But to your point, it works the same way.

Hunting Dave, I’m not so sure I received the Grandpa discount but free with every boat sold there comes the Dean Marshall satisfaction warranty. That is way better then any factory warranty. (if you don’t know Dean or his reputation, this will mean nothing to you)

The boats being made now. Once it arrives Tony will be installing all the man toys and we’ll christen her with a can of Hamm’s on her home waters. toast

You guys… I happen to like the smell of Secret 7, Sudden Impact and Sonny’s. What’s wrong with you? )

The FW was given the task to pick a make, model and color. It’s a Granddaughter boat…or what others call a Fish and Ski.

Ended up with a Solera 189 in Moondust (Burgundy) with a Yammi 150 SHO.

It’s very fishable but yet has all the comforts the FW wanted and I’m telling you, she was damn hard to please. ;)

What do women think boats are for exactly, besides fishing. I am still trying to convince the wife laying on a blanket on a casting deck catching rays would be comfortable.

That combo matches well with your Pink scivies and Spam Man Jammies, your on the water wardrobe should double with all the new storage compartments.
