Other than 39 hours (which I found by total accident) I have never heard of this guy. He is so fun to watch. YouTube is not good enough for him. He and Sam need a TV show. With all do respect to James (IDO is really the only outdoors show I watch. I love fishing but I just don’t watch it on TV…except IDO.) Jay is very entertaining and informative…and Sam is a hoot!

Yup. I prefer Uncut Angling but that’s like 1 video every 6 months since he got wifed up. Jay’s not quite the angler Aaron is imo, but he puts more into the editing and production of his videos.

Uncut, Jay and Tom Boley are all solid channels.

The technical quality of Jay’s filming and editing are the best I’ve seen on youtube.

Jays video editing and filming is un touched. He was uncut anglings film guy until he went his own way. Always great stuff.

Jay now farms out his editing and final production work now I believe. He still does is own filming. I think when these guys monetize their channels they need to crank out steady shows to make it work. Hence they don’t all have time to do their own editing anymore.

I hope I’m right about Jay, I follow quit a few of these guys and am pretty sure he sends his stuff out. If not I apologize.

I have been watching Jay’s channel for a few years now, very good in my opinion. Great camera work and editing. As mentioned, Uncut Angling is also great, but doesnt have as many videos as Jay.

Another one I have been watching for the last year or two is Clayton Schick Outdoors. He is another Canadian and fishes by himself 90% or more.

Both Jay and Clay do some catch and cooks episodes that provide some detail to a few good recipes as well

I believe Jay or his team (Thrive Visuals) does the editing.

I like to watch Boley, some wish he had a TV show- Heck no! keep him out there fishing 3 different lakes a week on a shoe string budget, with a show he goes with a guide gets dropped into a good spot, one lake a week for a season that is maybe 6 months. Keep those guys a little hungry.

I keep up with lots of the above YouTubers, all have great content I enjoy watching! I wish Aaron (uncut angling) would post more but I’m loving the steady videos from Jay, Tom and Clayton!

You guys ever heard of IDO Angling? Think they do 26 weekly shows starting the end of October every year.

I like Jay and his videos, not a big fan when Sam makes appearances. Can’t stand the baby talk, she’s an adult. crazy

Clayton Schick Outdoors is my #1 channel. (After IDO)

All these guys are in cahoots with each other. Aaron, Jay, Clayton, John B, and unfortunately Alex Perric. I also want to say that Jay is a part owner or involved with Frostbite Ice fishing gear.
