Hello, we are considering purchasing a Legend 18 XTR with a 115 Merc. If anyone can give me some feedback it would be greatly appreciated. Just want to make sure it is going to work for the whole family for fishing, tubing and pulling my 200lb bod around on skies. Thanks for any feedback.
I don’t have any experience with this boat, but it does look really interesting for a family. You are 200#, but what is the rest of your family. When we had a 115 4 stroke on our 1700 Lund Fisherman it was fantastic with my 3 boys, wife, and I. At the time the boys were only 9, 7, and 4. But you put 3 big guys in the boat, it would struggle to get on plane. I couldn’t even imagine trying to pull a skier. The Pro XS might have more torque, but again, you have to be reasonable with your expectations given your load. I didn’t verify, but I thought the max HP on the boat 150?
Looks like a really boat. Expecially with the rear seating/casting plat form area.
