Does anybody know if the Marcum Recon will work with the camera panner?

The video cord appears to be much thinner on the Recon vs Marcum’s other cameras, the panner is designed to hold the cable snug as you loop it through. Does it work with the Recon cable?

Yes. There is a small piece of semi-transparent tubing wrapped around the camera cable. The tubing can slide along the entire axis of the cable. This tubing is to be placed in the panner channel which will secure the camera cable to the panner system.

Yes. The tubing adds the appropriate diameter to the cable to ensure position lock and rotation.

great! Does the smaller/lighter camera move alot underwater? The nice thing about the full size cameras as that the lens module has some heft to it, so it stays calm even in current…

It stays in place very well once stationary. Due to its light weight I wouldn’t use it while boat is in motion and I’m not sure how current will effect it as I haven’t had the opportunity to use it in those conditions.
