    The child in question is one that needs all the attention he can get. His life is empty and the only friends are those he can coerce or pay to appear in his little movies. While several members have dropped in and out of that thread he has been there the whole way. Soaking in the imagined attention he is seemingly getting. At some point he will figure out people are just pointing at him and laughing. He will try and make you think he is smart and this is all calculated but he is really insecure and lonely. This provides what little entertainment he has in life. If he hadn’t proven himself so pathetic a person might even feel sorry for him.

    I’m sidelined as I have removed one caliper that has left a break line open ( with just a band aid to keep the dirt out, but do not trust allowing the water to seep in) So I’m awaiting parts with out an other float to let me fish. I cannot fish from shore unless it is nice and solid and reasonably flat. I don;t function very well on rough terrain any more.

    No worries Denny O. All threads eventually go away. As grapes might turn into a raisins that we can joyfully consume, or just wither and be scavenged by birds or snakes and then pooped into the ground and no longer be useful to us.

    I’ve been waiting for that thread to go away. (Similar to the ‘chin hooked walleye’ thread although that had much more relevance)

    Anyway, open water would do us all some good……

    I’m just sidelined with a boat that would be detrimental to the boat trailers break functions if I try to float it! whistling

    There’s most lakes up here still ice covered. Doesn’t matter though, for most of us “lake” guys we’re still waiting for the opener in a couple weeks.

    Sure the rivers are open but for the majority of state anglers, the traditional opener is when the season begins. But maybe not this year? ???
