Saw these on ebay. Somethings catch more fisherman than fish.
They caught this fisherman. Bought two to try. Anyone have any fishing experience.

IMO neither. Maybe in really dirty water? We just have such clear water that things like this seem to rarely work.

Isn’t there something in the 10000000 MN rule book about artificial lighting?

I honestly don’t know. Probably legal but glow jigs use natural light. Just curious…though I don’t think I’d ever purchase regardless.

comparing to traditional glow, I think these may be a little on the bright side, though that’s just a guess. I was looking at these on a china companie’s website and wondering how bright they actually are. If they are too bright, you can always paint them to tone it down.

    (A) depends on what state the lures are being used in.
    (B) MN regs say lighted artificial lures are OK as long as the batteries contain no mercury in them.

Fisherman. I wouldn’t bother with any LED-lighted spoons or baits under the ice in MN. I never even had a mark come up and look at my Tundra Tackle FireFly pink spoon this winter.

Something like that might work fishing deep winter smallies on some dirty reservoir down south where blade baits are often used.

While I can’t speak about scaly fish, a few winters back Krook and I went to a location we knew help channel cats.

I dropped the Marcum camera down with some bait attached. The leds were turned on high. After 20 minutes of nothing, I scratched my head and turned off the lights for the heck of it.

Just moments after turning off the light 2 cats came in a the third one slammed the bait.

Once home a looking at the video on the computer, I could see the shadows of cats that wouldn’t come to the bait with the lights on.

I’ll never say never on the river, but I’m not a fan.

Used something similar a few weekends ago and 3 lakers hammered them in 83 ft. No one else we talked to had a bite or even much for follows that day.

You never know what will work..

I used the 13 fishing Flash Bang on LOW this year and did pretty well with it. I think that every bait will work sometimes.

My dad had great luck on LOTW with the tundra tackle spoons. He also caught some smaller eyes and a 26.5″ walleye up on Winnipeg with them.

I have a AquaVu micro camera and panfish and perch routinely swim up to the camera and stare at it. It does not seem to bother them.

Never tried one of those but I hammered Walleye on URL on a red Tundra tackle spoon a couple years ago. Tried it elsewhere the last 2 years with limited success.
