Pls send me the transom saver link for my roller. Thank you.
3 ideas for you. I have the same style trailer and use the black rubber my wedge that goes around the trim cylinder shaft on my merc but I am not familiar with your outboard at all and your photos don’t show the motor trimmed up far enough to see if you have a similar trim cylinder to use it on. The arm style mount requires screwing a bracket to the bottom of your trailer rear cross member and the 2×4 chunk is an easy option that is a bit old school.
I’m 97.4826575826746543% sure that everyone who uses a wedge of some sort is aware it does essentially nothing to protect the transom, like a transom saver can. It protects the trim cylinders and keeps the motor from wanting to drop while trailering. These are two somewhat associated, yet completely different things.
This conversation always reminds me of the time, my buddy thought I was “ruining” my snowmobile by pulling it out the box of my truck in one quick motion and it landing on the ground below with a thud… he would say, “your ruining your suspension”… my comment to him “that’s the easiest landing this thing will have all day” The only time you need a transom saver, is when your on rough roads or if transom is already weak… it helps make it last longer… hmmmmmmmm.

I have what appears to be the exact same trailer. This is the transom saver I have.

That little bracket mounts beneath the running lights on the cross member. You will need to drill a hole or use a self tapping stainless steel screw. I actually used 2 because I didn’t want the bracket to rotate which might happen if you only use one.
Then you just adjust the length of the support to achieve proper height of motor.

I’ll run one as a cheap insurance policy on any medium-large boat I trailer, but to each their own.
