Noticed that Cabelas was selling these models for 50% this weekend and my past experience tells me that it means the end of production for a model. Anyone read anything about it being dropped for new models coming out?
There are replacements that will include a better side imaging option without a black box(uhd). Near as I can tell that’s the only real improvement.
There is already a new line out called Echomap ULTRA, so I would assume the Echomap Plus units will be phased out sooner than later??
Garmin has a new line of EchoMaps to released soon. From what I’m ale to discern they will be the same as current units, but with UHD capabilities. Three sizes 6,7 and 9, but the same resolution as the current models. https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/690363/pn/010-02342-01
