I recently purchased a Digger Auger Carrier for my ATV. First trip out on the ice and one of the plastic u-shaped top caps broke off. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, where did you get a replacement part? Thanks for the help in advance!

Call up digger. Can’t imagine they wouldn’t be willing to work with you.

Thanks for the info Munchy! I left a voicemail so I will hopefully hear from them during the week.

Same thing happened to me… I mounted mine on my snowmobile and put the auger on… when I came back the next day part of the plastic had fallen off.

drill a hole in the aluminum tube and insert a small screw to secure the plastic

Here is a photo of the plastic part. I am sure that Digger will be able to get me the part but time will tell.

I have a K- Drill and it has a larger size shaft and did not fit in the carrier so I made some out of wood and put screwed them down. works great.

Talked to Jeff at Digger Anchor and he said they would send one out no charge. Great customer service! Definitely will support these folks in the future )

Good to hear. I broke the clap a while back due to user error and he sent me a new one free of charge.

That is a surprising way to break that piece. What brand auger are you using?

I was disappointed to find out after installing mine over the weekend that I could no longer use the quick coupler on my auger because it was too big around to fit in that plastic piece.

I have an Ion auger. The shaft fits in well but I do not have the quick coupler.
