Told the little girl I’d get her out cat fishing one more time in the fall, and wasn’t looking good for awhile there, but with the new year plans shaping up well we got out!
Last few years had to refine cold water kittie fishing and finally getting some really good results. Hookup %’s are excellent and when the fish school up, and turn on it can be lights out for hours.
Many fish brought to shore in the hour and half we were there, was getting really good when we left at dark. Forgot to take a tinkle before we left 
Biggest went 25″ but might as well been a 10# for her, just awesome watching her crank em in! Smile is even better now with 2 missing front teeth, every time she yells “come here pishy” it cracks me up. 
She even let me reel in a couple, she likes being the net girl too
