Did Cabelas discontinue their high end walleye rods?

    I was looking on-line for their XML walleye spinning rods and they are nowhere to be found. Anyone know what’s up with that? I would think they would still want to compete with St. Croix, Loomis, etc. on the high end?

    An employee at the rogers store told me they were discontinued a few weeks ago.

    Thanks for the info. Christmas seems like an odd time to discontinue their high end rod.

    The had them on sale in the online Bargain cave a few months ago at good prices. I picked a bait casting one in the bargain cave in woodbury a couple weeks ago for $30. I have had good luck with the XML and xmlti rods I have.
