This is the new brand name for these Turkish-made autos after Smith & Wesson dropped them. Look up reviews on the Smith & Wesson autos from a few years back and that’s basically what you’re getting.

This brand name should not be confused with the British (ok, Scottish then) maker of Dickson, maker of the famed round action double design still referred to as a Dickson action.

IMO if you’re looking for a lower priced entry level auto, the Stoeger range is a much more proven platform and design. I’m perfectly comfortable with the simplicity of the lower end recoil activated designs, but I would not take a chance on a lower priced gun in a gas actuated version.
