I will be camping at Diamond Lake next weekend with the family and in laws. I will be pulling my boat up there to pull the kids on the tube and so i can go fishing.

I am wondering if anyone has an suggestion on where to fish and what to use this time of year on this lake. Also if anyone has any other suggestions about this lake i would greatly appreciate it.

Wheelers campground? There used to be a couple of swimming docks that we caught fish under. An old guy from the campground took us there. I think he has since died

Camp ground number 3 or something like that. I will be mostly fishing early in the morning.

    Thank you for the responses.

The lake has some giant bass. My buddy just won a club tournament there over the 4th. I would find some timber and either skip senkos aliens them or flip jigs. Also skip under docks and willow trees. Good luck.
We had a cabin on there many years ago but I was to young to know anything about fishing. But my dad says they would cast or troll jointed rapelas at night. I would assume with water temps you may want to lead core.
Here’s a couple of my buddy’s fish from his win

Thanks for the info. I got out a couple of times fishing and caught a huge bullhead, and then a nice walleye. A storm came in and i had to get off the water.
