My son and are are looking to take a trip to devils lake in mid october. I have searched for info on this time of year and can’t find alot, beides that some of the resort websites say it’s a great time to be there. What i’m looking for is what presentations work best that time of year? Are the fish generaly deep or can we get them shallow as well? We are mostly looking for walleyes pike and perch, and don’t mind catching some white bass too. Just looking for an idea if the fish are deep or can you pitch jigs and cranks to shore lines and weed lines, Thanks ahead for anything your willing to share!
