It’s been tough fishing for alot of anglers but it should be picking up with the warm weather.

I just came back from Devils lake Wednesday. It was not good. Tough bite all around. Bobbers were the best in the evening. And no one technique stood out. We pulled spinners. Threw cranks and corked.
Have some guide contacts and it wasn’t much better for them. One day 4 guide boats had 10 fish between them.
No idea why but it was the worst bite by far in all the trips I’ve made up there. We fished all over. Casino, grahams island, pelican slough, and Minnewaukan. Didn’t matter.
    Good luck.

Yikes. Was it a case where you were marking them and couldn’t get them to bite? Or did you have a tough time locating them as well?

Could mark plenty of fish but getting them to bite was a challenge. Pike were even a struggle as well as silver bass.
Bug hatch hadn’t started yet as of when we left, so no idea what the issue was. Was very strange.
