Heading up to devils lake north Dakota pretty soon and was wondering how the fish were biting and where they’re biting

I may know of a spot or two that have fish on them time to time.

Going to Devils Lake ND 3/17. Try Main Basin out from the casino and Swansons point. ALso ask whether Black Tiger is producing any fish.
    Good Luck

I do think it’s a strech to say Devils is about to start producing but who knows. I am there very often and between my group we have never got a full limit all around. Been a tough bite this year but if you move enough you can get on them. At some point it’ll turn up, but who knows when. I’m going out this weekend and next week for two days I’ll let you know how we do.

Fished all day today. The season’s reputation continues. It seems small walleyes and perch are very strong this year. I haven’t found large perch schools and they don’t appear to be strong in basin areas either. Spots that had quality walleyes a few weeks ago now are full of fingerlings.. It would’ve been a successful day if we were able to keep any of our fish. Can’t seem to find the big walleyes this year. My theory is most are in less than 10′. Thoughts anyone?
