Planning a trip out there was wondering if anyone knew the lake condition out there and how they are traveling out there? What is the amount of snow on top of the ice. Is a truck or wheeler better to travel by or would tracks be the best?

There is drifted snow but it is frozen solid. Parts of the lake would still be nice to have tracks. Other parts you could easily drive your pickup.
We were there over the weekend and fished in the blizzard Friday and windy and cold Saturday. Fished with a guide and he pulled his ice shack with ski’s all over driving a suburban. We moved around a lot and avoid the drift areas. 4 guys 19 walleye and 11 perch. Drove back in a blizzard on Sunday.
Heading up March 12th for 5 days our annual trip. Think this is year 10 going it’s a blast my favorite ice trip during the year.
