The ice bite is on in the area. The Pines are kicking out nice walleyes and many over the 18″ slot. Sallie and White Earth are also producing good eaters. Rainbows seem to be the ticket and just off the weed edges. Crappies and sunnies are biting on many area lakes. Big and Little Floyd are turning big crappies with consistancy.Ice conditions are still inconsistant. Most lakes have about 10″, but we are not making ice fast with the mild daytime temps over the last week. Check with “Baitman” John at Quality Bait in DL before you head out to get the most updated word.
