The bite is on. Hot lakes have been OT, Big Pine, Big Detroit, Pelican. The weather is funky right now so that will effect numbers. Most of the fish are still fairly shallow. Jigs and rigs. Spot tail shinners, red tails, (jigs with fatheads) have been working. The leech and crawler bite is starting to go. Water temps around teh area still hover in the mid 50’s…won’t change much for a week at least due to all the cold, rain, wind, and cold evening temps.
