Anyone have any easy recipes for dessert following shore lunch? I typically eat enough fish that I don’t need anything else, but I thought it would be fun to try.

    Peach cobbler in dutch overn?

    1 Box yellow/white cake mix
    1 can peaches
    one stick of butter

I line my dutch oven with tinfoil just to avoid mess. Spray with cooking spray.
Put in peaches and juice from can, dump cake mix over the top, then cut the butter into chunks and spread over the top of the cake. Put cover on and place over coals for about 30-40 minutes… depending on temp of fire or coals.

I’m a sucker for the traditional s’more, though I have done some pretty delicious things in a pie iron.

Agreed! Can’t go wrong with s’mores! My husband and I harvested loads of apples from our tree and froze the apples to use in pies. We thawed one of the bags and used them to make apple pies in the pie irons a couple of weekends ago. Along with white bread, butter, a sprinkle of sugar = deliciousness!
