lot of land is owned by people out of state and some farmers still have their land. The thing is that when time got tough for the small farmers, land price was good so they just started selling their land in chunks, some 40 acres and some are just scattered, really makes it hard to find line fences and that now, but that is what it has come to.

Yep, same around here. One thing that has changed for sure is now there are some places where 2 guys are on 400 acres and sit in a tree stand all day. Very few deer drives and big parties, so alot less deer movement overall. Can’t blame the farmers for selling or leasing with the prices and taxes cost these days. With the reputation growing, this will only get worse.
