Huge 8 Point

    Here is a couple pics of an 8 pointer shot by Dean Marshall opening week near Detroit Lakes MN. The rack had a 19 1/2 inch inside spread. The body on this deer was just enormous Dean said. He did not get an exact weight, but it sure is a large deer! Thanks for the pics Dean.

    Nice buck! It looks like you hypnotized him before you shot him I’ll have to check the regs on that one.

    3 spikes and 2 does
    Joe Hukriede filled 3 of our tags in his first year of hunting! He hunted right behind Big D’s cabin!!!
    I had my chances……just no need to fill my tag.

    We were in Theif river Falls and ended up 6 for 4. 2 little bucks and 4 big doe’s. Mine went about 135-140. I’m catching slab crappies now in the 1# -1.5# range.

    Chappy…..when your up in the Theif Lake area, do you ever get over to Middle River? I have spent some time in the Waggon Wheel!!!!I use to start my Duck/Goose season in Middle River. I gave up duck hunting around 20 years ago now.

    Beleive it or not, We hunt about 2 miles from there! So i’ve been told,I’ve never made it that far up the road. We hunt some private land just off of hgy 59 behind some state land.
