Took my daughter out this morning, and my god it was chilly!!! Saw nothing in the 2 hours we lasted, but the amount of tracks around the stand that have been left since Thursday night was incredible!!! Gonna lay one down tonight!!!
Was damn cold here as well. I put on about everything I had and lasted about 4 hours this morning. Lasted another 3.5 this afternoon but my feet n face still paying for it…BTW, my footwarmers did not do the job! 
But I think I’ll be out in the morning

Well, true to my word, she got it done tonight! An awesome shot through a small opening and destroyed the heart. Was odd, thing trotted away like it wasn’t hit and laid down after 40 yards…didnt fall, just laid down. Not sure how it happened, but she broke through the leg and got the heart, and the thing wasn’t limping at all when it ran…weird. Lot of action tonight too, deer were everywhere!!!!
Congrats! Olivia had a buck like that. Bad shot low, but the bullet fragmented and by freak chance a piece went up and punctured the heart. Ran 100 yrds then death circle.
Hats off to you guys! I was staring at the thermometer in the car and didn’t feel so bad about being out!
