That firetiger kinda has that “kelly green” color appeal!
Should be a HOT color if it works as good as those kelly green bucktail jigs!

Lucked out in the a.m. on the 14th with this old knarly mainframe 6×7 with a 1″ sticker on his right mainbeam. Dressed out right at 200lbs. and after learning some history on this deer I age him at a min. of 7.5 yrs old. Amazing considering the pressure in my area. A special thanks to Ricco who is ALWAYS willing to drop what he’s doing to help a friend out, thanks bud!

COPPERTOP!!!! Thanks for the call and I wouldn’t miss dragging out any deer that you shoot for the world. I can’t believe you passed him up on opener??? And to find out from the neighbors that he’s at least 7.5 yrs old….. amazing.

For the fellow iDo members. These pics don’t do the buck justice as far as the mass goes. All circ measurements are over 6″+.

I have a couple pics to add and hopefully give a better idea.

Congrats again Randy. I am grateful for our friendship and bond over the past 10 years. I still remember being roommates and asking you in 2003; “When will it be our turn? Why can’t we ever get a good buck?” Well, I didn’t expect things to play out the way they have.

Can’t wait to make more memories.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Kooty, I haven’t taken a pic of the slug I found in him but it looks to be a Barnes Expander that never expanded, I found it on the outside of the shoulder encased in fat that turned green from the copper. Not really sure happened there??? Thinking maybe a long quartering towards shot and never got into the body cavity???
