I chatted with Jeff a little bit last night and this morning, here was the outcome unfortunately….

Bob marley disappeard after the fight, had one pic a week later and never seen again. Min Ten died of EHD last summer.

What a bummer, but hats off to them both for trying to do what a great lot of hunter wouldn’t.

Hind sight is so easy to criticize, but in my opinion… After witnessing the beating Bob Marley took, I would have guessed his survival rate at less than 3%. I probably would have ended his suffering quickly.

Again, it’s pretty easy to sit here and criticize when my adrenaline isn’t on full tilt overload in the heat of the moment. I respect these guys for the choice they made!

I agree with you 100 percent, I did not mean to make my reply sound like I was criticizing them at all just thinking out loud wondering if they would do anything differnt. I have nothing but the utmost respect for the both of them.

Jeff put it simple to me… “that’s hunting”

I feel there is always that chance for not just regret but second guessing after a decision is made. I often ask myself I did or didn’t take a shot I’m hopes I will be rewarded in some way.

Thanks for the update. I believe they did the right thing. It was certain death for both the bucks if they would have done nothing. At least they gave them a chance even if the odds of survival were slim.
