This is a buck that I cannot place with any from last year. A welcomed addition. With the given corn/soybean rotation directly around our land, we are completely surrounded by corn this year. Typically during these corn years we see a drastic reduction in the overall number of pictures we get. I will be moving some cameras onto our soybean plots during the next check to take advantage of the pressure soybeans see in mid to late August around here.

Bucks seem to be well behind last year, and behind the last several in regards to growth by this time of year. Any one else seeing the same?

Picture is from last Thursday morning, so just about a week old. As mentioned, I am noticing the bucks here are behind normal in regards to annual growth stage. Hoping he has a good amount of tine growth left, still alot of bulbing on them.
