Iowa Gun Deer Season

    Well our hunting season is here an gone . The 2012 gun season will be sure one to remember . My son Kolton who is 11 harvested his first deer a nice doe. The smiles an laughs an memories will put this gun season as my favorite . I truly loved seeing my son take his first deer. It made my whole 2012 season. We saw plenty of deer an the temps could not of been better . Although no shooter bucks for us , this doe is a booner in my book. What a trophy for a kid who loves the outdoors . I couldn’t be more proud .

    Awesome job! Definitely a memory that you guys will share for a lifetime!!! I still get excited when I think of Lindsey and Olivia’s firsts.
    I sure would be interested in reading his hunting experience from his perspective. Think he may want to write up a short story and have you post it?
