Perfect time for Late Season Tactic

This is a great time to go out after a big snowfall and make a HUGE FIGURE 8 in the snow and have the trails lead to 20-30 yards from my stand in all directions. I usually walk out at least 200 yards and hope a deer or 2 cross’s my trail and heads my direction.

Obviously I haven’t had the opportunity to do this in the past couple of years but know this works and can be deadly.

Does anyone else have a tactic up their sleeve when a good amount of snow hits the ground?

Call in sick every time my patient has canceled on me this fall I have either killed a deer or seen a shooter I am very superstitious when it comes to hunting so I play the odds

i saw between 8-14 deer tonight. 2 were bucks. It was hard to tell if some were the same deer or not. I saw them 1/4 mile from the corn field at 4:30 pm with shooting time being over at 4:59. The last deer i saw were at 5:07 pm

I have to elaborate. Some of the deer took the same trail i created on the way to the stand This helped me determine where i need to reposition my stand
