That may be the heaviest looking deer i have ever seen
Hears the real story behind this deer. The guy in the picture didn’t shoot the deer. He found it on Monday dead and wrapped his tag on it after another member of his party wounded it on Saturday. Did NOT weigh 240#. Deer was wounded and bloated quite fast in the 55+ degree weather. I hunt just south of where this buck was “taken”…

The fellow that shot it, wasn’t a member of the “party” that found it at all. Although he did supply me with the photos. If you hunt in that area you might know DI who’s property it was shot and found on.
As far as the 240 pounds goes, that’s what I was told by the fella that shot but didn’t recover it. Could be 100 pounds for all I know.
