    Tell me about it…

Are we there now in SE Minnesota? Wondering if it worth my time to get to stand at 1 or 2pm to hunt until dark or is the typical arrival of 3-4pm the way to go. Are the deer moving all day now or still the first/last hours of the day?

I’ve checked 5 cams on 4 diff pcs of property this week and not one shooter. The one positive is 3 of 4 spots are showing daytime movement and I could probably get a shot at a doe every night of the week. I did get a couple of 1.5’s bucks on cam but that’s it.

For now, I’m waiting for a good one to show his face and call a couple friends to move in on him and party hunt. (since i already shot a buck) I sure hope it happens soon.

From what i have seen on stand and on cameras is still alot of movement after dark, however the scraping activity has really picked up. I think over the next 6 or 7 days the bucks will start making scrape appearances during shooting light, then its game on after that.
